31 MARCH 2020

Dear travellers,

The MTN Bushfire Festival has been the biggest event on our Travel Calendar for years, however, we are in full support of the organizers' decision to postpone this year`s festival.

Prior to receiving news of the festival postponement, we were only 2 months away from the 2020 festival.

Our team had already engaged with various service providers and partners to ensure that we deliver a memorable experience. The postponement has been a great setback for us but health and safety concerns should remain a priority at all times.

In great festival style, the organizers will #KEEPTHEFIREBURNING as the festival has been postponed, not cancelled. This means that all packages have automatically been transferred to next year’s festival dates at this year’s package prices.

Any travellers who wish to keep their booking, may continue with their payments. You also have the option of transferring (name change) your booking at no additional costs.

We are aware that not all travellers would like to hold their current bookings and have considered many factors (our Terms & Conditions, as well as that of our service providers and partners) and taken into consideration the many workers who owe their livelihood to the festival operations.

Under these exceptional circumstances, the following options/terms apply to any travellers who wish to cancel their booking:

  • Forfeiture of deposit (R650) in addition to this, 3rd party cancellation fees of R350 are applicable (this will apply individually).

  • All Bushfire 2020 bookings are eligible for booking transfers, meaning, all travellers may  transfer their current booking (funds) to any of our trips scheduled for 2020. This is subject to availability and no transfer fees will apply. You will however be required to pay any shortfall package fees should your funds not sufficiently cover your preferred package.

NOTE: The above options will be available until 29 May 2020 at 12:00PM (CAT).

We have tried our utmost best to consider all parties involved and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We thank you for your patience and ask for your understanding during this time.
